DEXTER GREENWOOD

Passion Is The Special Ingredient

Both of my parents are great cooks.  I was born in Duhaney Park, Jamaica and my love of food was born right along with me.       

My family believed in wholesome and healthy meals with an emphasis on great taste.  To this day I still love the simple concepts of Jamaican cuisine: fresh ingredients cooked with love.

 

The move to Canada at a young age opened up many new worlds of food to me. The multi-cultural mosaic of Toronto's culinary scene allowed me to indulge in authentic food experiences from all across the globe.

 

My culinary training under Chefs David Adjey, Fan Zhang, Bryan Simmons and Ronald Brown was extensive and wide ranging and it has helped me to make my own kitchen into a place of culinary diversity.

 

I have been cooking in Japan for almost a decade, and that experience has afforded me the opportunity to create connections, forge relationships, and acquire the local knowledge necessary to find the best and freshest ingredients just for your special occasion.
